Our Story
MERAKI is run by Toka who has passion for art since youth. She started to draw small things when she was 8, like eyes, lips, and ships. But then she started with something bigger, specifically full portraits with pencils and charcoals. As life constantly changing; Toka decided to enter the colour world and began to play with colours on canvas. During that time, she was looking for a cabinet to store drawing staff, but unfortunately, she didn’t find any and decided to design her own. Since then, she has discovered her love of furniture and wishes to own a carpentry.
Until she found her new passion for interior design, she decided to get her degree in that field and thankfully she succeeded.
She decided to show the world her creativity and design passion as she enjoys doing so. And here is where MERAKI started, which refers to the result when we leave our soul, creativity and love in our work.
And here it is, she is committed to designing and preparing spaces for people with love, creativity and a touch of her soul to create lovely, comfortable, functional and elegant spaces.
